Hey guys! I just got back from the UK few days ago and I gotta tell you, Scotland is absolutely gorgeous! It’s so green, really incredible place indeed. My visit was only a week long, but I pretty much managed to visit all the places I had on my list. One big issue that I had on this trip was the “beautiful” Scottish weather, It’s raining pretty much all the time, which was not fun at all! Make sure to bring a rain coat if you decide to visit.
1. Edunburgh
Edinburgh is Scotland's compact, hilly capital. It has a medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. It’s a perfect location for a long walks, has a wonderful vibe exploring around! My favorite view of the town is from the Calton Hill, a must visit spot!
Two things you should definitely try while in Scotland are their famous Shortbread biscuits accompanied with white flat coffee, which is like a latte but better… so good!!!
2. Glenfinnan Viaduct
Now, what do you need to know about this spot is that the train runs from early April to late October. It only passes 2 times a day, once in each direction. If you want to see it fronting you from the view location make sure to be there around 10:30am. If you get there late you can see it again coming back from Mallaig around 2:15pm.

The viewpoint is only like 15 min walk from the parking lot, and yes, parking is paid and cost only couple of quids and there is also a small coffee shop for drinks and snacks that opens right after the train passes.
Has a “No Drones” signs all over the place but I managed to hide nearby and flew off with no issues! If you decide to fly be respectful and careful, only recommended for experienced flyers!

3. Eilean Donan Castle
For our next stop on the journey I have the gorgeous Eilean Donan Castle. It’s only like 80 miles from our previous spot and it’s on our way to the Isle of Sky. During the day it’s pretty crowded I would say, but for sunrise or sunset you can have it pretty much for yourself! Also parking is paid during working hours but it’s free after, I recommend going for sunset or sunrise! Also make sure to check high and low tide times in order to capture gorgeous reflections of the castle!
No issues with flying drone there for sunset or sunrise!

5. The Storr
The Storr is a rocky hill on the Trotternish peninsula of the Isle of Skye in Scotland. The hill presents a steep rocky eastern face overlooking the Sound of Raasay, contrasting with gentler grassy slopes to the west.
