Alright, let’s talk lenses! At the moment I own four Sony GM lenses which I love more than anything in the world. Hands down to Sony for the amazing work that they did on the series. Every one of them is an absolute masterpiece, I’m speechless! Well done guys, respect to you! You can’t go wrong there and that’s a fact!
let’s begin from the wider side of my set, today I ordered the Sony GM 14mm 1.8 lens and I can’t really tell anything from my personal experience with it but after seeing all the positive reviews I’m pretty sure that it will be absolute gem of a glass. I’ll share more on the topic later I guess!
The FE 14mm F1.8 GM delivers incredible G Master quality and performance with a new perspective from an ultra- wide-angle field of view and bright F1.8 aperture -- all in a compact and lightweight design. Ideal for astrophotography, architecture, landscape, and even portraits and movie shooting, it delivers extraordinary resolution and gorgeous bokeh with precision focus performance.
Next on my list is my trusty Sony GM 16-35mm. I’ve been using it for a few years now and I gotta say, it’s truly outstanding!
Explore the world in creative new ways with exceptional G Master performance in a 16-35mm F2.8 wide-angle zoom. This lens delivers consistently superb resolution from corner-to-corner, no matter what zoom setting or focus distance at which you shoot.
And now I present to you… drum rolls… The One and Only Sony GM 24-70mm, the One lens that stays attached to my a7R IV almost 80% of the time! It’s perfect for pretty much every situation so this one is no brainer. It should be the first lens you need to consider acquiring if you are serious about your photography! It’s a must have!
The Sony FE 24-70mm F2.8 GM Zoom Lens is the ultimate choice for those seeking the highest possible optical performance for portrait, travel and event photography or even simple everyday shooting.
And the last but not least… The Sony GM 100-400mm, my specialty beast! Truly spectacular zoom lens. I love to shoot with it, it’s probably my favorite of them all! Highly recommended!
Full-frame super telephoto zoom with outstanding sharpness, fast AF and compact design that maintains the high standard of resolution shared among all of Sony’s flagship line of G Master lens series.
Yes, I just pulled the trigger on it! I just made the order last night, opted for the fly more combo. It took me sometime to decide if I really need the upgrade from the Mavic 2 Pro and I finally decided to give it a shot! I’ll tell you more soon, once I get my hands on it! I can’t wait!
Capture stunning imagery with the legendary Hasselblad drone camera and enjoy a smooth flight with omnidirectional obstacle sensing. Every improvement on Mavic 3 sets a higher standard for aerial photography.
Ok guys, let’s get serious now! Let’s say you bought an expensive camera body and some fancy 2.8 lenses and now you have no money left to buy a decent tripod and you go like… ahh… is not a big deal, I’ll go get some 50-100$ tripod from Best Buy and I’m good… W.R.O.N.G!
Trust me, I’ve been there… please learn from my mistakes!
Investing in a good sturdy tripod from the start will save you so much headaches and money in the long run, you have no idea! Your equipment for thousands of dollars have no place standing on top of a cheap shaky tripod. Look for something strong enough to handle your set up weight and to be sturdy enough to withstand strong winds and stormy weather. A good tripod will last you for a life time so be wise here and make the right decision!
Let me introduce you to my personal choices for a sturdy beasts. I got these two guys many years ago and they are perfectly fine and they keep making me happy every time I go shoot somewhere! One of my best investment ever, period!
This TVC-24L from Really Right Stuff paired with the RRS BH-40 Ball Head is a complete monster combo! It’s built like a tank, little on the heavy side though. I’m using it mostly in bad weather with strong winds or with my long telephoto lens. It’s perfect!
