Recently I have updated almost everything in my camera bag, including the bag itself. Switching to Sony after 10 years with Nikon was a very interesting and expensive experience. Finally I was able to sell all of my Nikon’s and decided to share with you how my new Sony setup looks like. If you wonder why I made the switch, I will be making a completely new post with all the reasons very soon, so just stay tuned to my blog! Ok, without further ado let’s start with the camera bodies:
For the Replacement of my trusted Nikon D850 I chose the amazing compact Sony A7RIII. I really did love the D850, I still miss it sometimes but I’m getting used to the Sony and really love all the features this small powerhouse have to offer.

For my second body I picked the A7III, the not so little and younger brother of the A7RIII. Basically this camera was the main reason why I switched to Sony. The real game changer.

Now let’s talk Lenses, totally my favorite part of the topic. My main lenses in my previous setup were the 14-24, 24-70 and 70-200 from Nikon. I was completely satisfied with these 3 epic glass monsters, and honestly I really had a hard time giving them up. But I finally did it, and I feel good about it. With the new setup I took a little different approach and I’m quite happy with it. But let me show you first and then we’ll talk.
I’m going to start with my favorite of them all. This thing is mounted to my camera 80% of the time. Really love that focal length, it’s perfect for almost everything I shoot, from street to landscape. This lens is extremely sharp from edge to edge!

This thing is a beast! I realize that is little overkill to shoot with this huge tripod, especially with mirrorless system, but I love how sturdy and reliable these legs are in any weather conditions. Works perfect with my Really Right Stuff BH-40 Ball Head
